Sigma Kappa

Lambda Zeta Chapter

As an organization Sigma Kappa encourages our members to be involved in their campus and community. Because of this focus on involvement outside of Sigma Kappa, our sisters are able to engage with the campus and community in ways that are important to them by hosting and participating in a number of different events.

Coming up:

*All of these events will be held virtually due to COVID-19*

Friday March 19th: Big / Little Reveal

After weeks of talking to Heart Sisters, our new members are finally going to meet their Big Sisters!

‚ÄčSunday March 28th: Initiation

Our new members will be initiated on this day and become Sigma Kappas for life! We are so excited for them to be a part of our sisterhood.

Saturday April 10th: Day of Service

On this day, Sigma Kappas around the nation will be helping their communities by volunteering. This year, Day of Service will be conducted virtually.

April 21st through April 24th: Ultra Violet Philanthropy Event

Join us for our Ultra Violet Event as we support the Sigma Kappa Foundation! The Foundation works to support five funding priorities close to Sigma Kappa’s heart, it’s called PULSE. PULSE stands for philanthropic initiatives, unrestricted gifts, leadership development, sisters in need, and education.  These funding priorities help to provide scholarships for collegiate members, donations for Alzheimer’s disease and gerontology research, supplies to the Maine Seacoast Mission, and grants for sisters during an unforeseen emergency. We are holding various events throughout the week. Email our VP of Philanthropic Services to find out how you can help!
